DSA NIMBYs

DSA doesn't want sweeps but they don't want campsites either. At least, not in THEIR neighborhoods.

The DSAntifa bloc in Portland loves to paint anyone who opposes them as conservative, right-wing, MAGA or NIMBY neighbors (Not in my backyard).

They are already irritating. But what makes them even more irritating is when they profess NIMBY ideas themselves.

Jamie Dunphy is opposed to sweeping campsites but he doesn’t want them in his district.

“The Mayor isn’t solving a problem,” Dunphy wrote, “he’s forcing the problem into the neighborhoods that are already suffering the most.” (Source).

Candace Avalos is against sweeps but doesn’t want camps in her neighborhood either.

So here’s my question. If you’re against sweeping campsites but you don’t want camps in your neighborhood, what does that make you?
